Mack adds Digital Driver Guide and remote climate control to MyMack app

Mack Trucks has updated its MyMack smartphone app to include the Digital Driver Guide, and it can now activate remote climate control on trucks fitted with the Mack Integrated Parking Cooler. The app sits alongside the Mack Connect portal in the Mack Integrated Uptime bundle, which puts OEM-supplied tracking, diagnostics and safety data in front of fleet managers.

Mack Trucks has added the Digital Driver Guide to its MyMack app, according to Work Truck Online. Drivers can open the guide in the app instead of visiting a website or scanning a QR code. The app has the truck's vehicle identification number already programmed in, so the guide matches the specific vehicle.

MyMack is available for the Mack Pioneer, the all-new Mack Anthem, the new Mack Granite and the Mack Keystone. Mack launched the app when it debuted the Pioneer in April 2025. It is downloadable from the Apple Store and Google Play.

What drivers can do

The app gives drivers remote access to their vehicles. They can check the status of vehicle lights and monitor fuel, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and oil levels from a smartphone.

On trucks equipped with the new Mack Integrated Parking Cooler, the app can also start remote climate control, so drivers can set cab temperature before the workday begins.

"With the MyMack app, we're putting more of the information and functionality drivers need right at their fingertips," said Brandon Page, Mack senior product manager for vehicle electrical and electronics.

The fleet side: Mack Connect

MyMack is part of Mack Integrated Uptime, a connected vehicle bundle. The fleet-facing piece is the Mack Connect portal, which Mack describes as a single source for location tracking, performance data, operational analytics and diagnostics.

According to the source, fleet managers can view location and speed history, and performance metrics such as cruise control usage and idle time. The portal supports analysis of fuel efficiency by individual driver and comparison across drivers and trucks, which Mack says supports route planning.

Safety monitoring through Mack Connect covers roll stability interventions, hard braking events and driver seatbelt usage. Mack positions this data as material for driver coaching based on real examples.

The portal also shows GuardDog Connect diagnostics and lets customers manage over-the-air software updates and parameter settings.

Pricing and availability

The MyMack app and Mack Connect portal come with a five-year introductory offer bundled with Mack Integrated Uptime. The source does not say what the offer costs or what happens after the five years.
